Java add a field in a class and set the value of it without using interface
I want to add a field in a class in Java, something like this
class foo {
public string bar;
}
foo.addField("bar", "foobar");
foo f = new foo();
f.bar = "foobar";
but this doesn't compile, if I have to do something like that, it should be possible to do it without using an interface. Is there any way to add a field to a class and set the value of it without using an interface?

From the Java Language Specification:
A field (§8.3) is defined in a class in a way that allows it to be
accessed directly. It is associated with a declared type, which
provides its name and type.
A field may be declared static (§8.3.1), which makes it effectively a
class constant, and effectively final (§8.1.2), which makes it
effectively immutable. Fields declared as static or final may not be
assigned to (§8.3.2). A field declared in an inner class may be made
static. The access to a static field of a class does not require an
object reference; it is a static access.
So, you're asking for the impossible.
